FRAGMENTS D’UN DISCOURS D’ARMENIE 
IN CONJUNCTION WITH “THE MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN PARIS
Exhibition of photographs by Henry F. B. Lynch for the book “Travel in Armenia”

The catalog is dedicated to Malakia Ormanian, Patriarch of Constantinopolis who made so much for Anatolian Armenian populations during Hamidian period.

Texts by Mrs. Artemis Ohanian, Mr. Haroutioun Kevorkian,  Dickran Kouymjian and Richard Wilkinson. Forewords by Maurice Rheims.

Many of these photographs are important by their aesthetic qualities and by their architectural importance. Most of these churches and convents have been destroyed systematically by Turks and Turkish Governments from early 20th century to the end of the 20th century. This exhibition was visited by over 2.200 visitors in a period of one month. 31 Black and White Photographs 48 pp. 8 x 9.5 Paperback in Near Fine condition. Exhibition catalog of photographs excerpted from Lynch’s 1901 book “Armenia: Travels and Studies.” Photography is mainly about Armenian architecture including churches and about people.
